0 ℃ is the project by Kamimura and Umezawa which aims at collecting sounds, photographs, and documents related to ice or snow around the world. The sound of Norway glacier, recorded by a Jez’s handmade hydrophone and listening score were shown in the exhibition 0℃ of 2016, Japan.
This time, we will play the sound performance with a focus on ice or snow as part of the 0℃ project. The artist Jez Riley French will present a culminating talk reflecting on his works and field recording.
