Robert Teetsov — Biography
Robert Teetsov is a film director, screenwriter, actor, and musician. He is currently an MFA candidate in the department of Film, Video, New Media, and Animation at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Robert is a graduate of Northwestern University and studied film directing and screenwriting in the Stage Cinéma at La Fémis in Paris. He wrote and directed the short fiction filmTranslations of Love in Mumbai and Paris, produced by Indian film director Amit Kumar. Robert is currently making his first feature-length narrative film in Chicago and in Japan.

- My name is Robert Teetsov. My nickname is Bob. You can call me Robert or Bob. I like both names.
- My most recent artistic work is my feature-length narrative film, which is a work in progress with the working title Displaced Persons: Journey to the Unknown.
- I want to make an important part of my feature film in Matsudo and in Tokyo. Also, I would like to get to know the history, culture, and traditions of Matsudo and the people of Matsudo, as well as artists from Matsudo. I will be delighted to experience everyday life in Matsudo and to see how the arts play a part in the lives of the good people of Matsudo.
- I have a feeling that my favorite food will be the wide variety of o-bento (boxes) that friends have told me about!
