OPEN CALL TO PERFORMERS, ACTORS, PERFORMING ARTISTS

We are seeking performers for a collaborative performing arts production in October 2017.
The piece is organised by Berlin-based artist Kritsof Trakal, artist-in-residence at Paradise Air, in Matsudo, Chiba Prefacture.

We are looking for collaborating performers who would take a part in 1 month of Roleplaying-game production.

The production of the roleplaying game is collaborative and involves a Cosplay workshop, costume making, improvisation excercises, game testing, a possible reading group. We develop a characters for each participant together. The characters in the end will be used in a roleplaying game that is open to the public in early October. The Game in October will start out at the former love hotel site of Paradise Air with the collaboration members introducing the game in a workshop to the participants of the day. Then Participants will venture out to different sites in Matsudo – where they will interact with each other or us in Character. The detailed form of the roleplaying game however should be developed in Collaborative process.

Time Frame

3rd of September: Kick-Off Introductory Workshop

September-October: weekly meetings

14th of October: Role-playing Event

• No previous performance experience is necessary – but could be of good use. Previous experience with collaboration is favorable but again not a must.
• English speakers preferable.
• We can offer a small compensation for the work.
