Born in 1980 in Fukuoka, currently lives and works in Chiba. He obtained a MFA in Printmaking in Fine Arts at Musashino Art University in 2007. He mainly works in video, photography and sculpture, and creates installation work with them, focusing on the ambiguity and uncertainty of the reality. He conducted research on video media of Southeast Asia traveling in 10 cities of 6 countries receiving a grant of Asia Fellowship from The Japan Foundation Asia Center in 2019. His recent exhibitions include a solo exhibition “Meeting Point” (Yet Thirtieth Experimental Art Space, HongKong, 2018), “Public and FreedomⅡ” (WAITINGROOM, Tokyo, 2017), solo exhibition “Public and Freedom” (Art Center Ongoing, Tokyo, 2016), group exhibition “Oku-Noto Triennale” (Former Kodomari nursery, Ishikawa, 2017) and many others in Japan and abroad. A member of Ongoing collective. An organizer of Free Style Photo Battle.
