How do we bring the past form of silent cinema into the present day?
They aim to create works with a composite approach that is possible only in the present, not in nostalgia.
Furthermore, they envisage producing a wide range of video works together with what they have gained through this activity. Thanks to the encounters they have had in Matsudo, they are able to transmit “something” that will lead to their activities in the future.

Syo Tatsuya
Born in 1988 Graduated from the Department of Photography at Nihon University College of Art in 2009, and after working in commercial film, including music videos and commercials, became a freelance filmmaker. Started making independent films with friends at university.
Hirofumi Mogi
Born in 1988 Born in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Graduated from the Tokyo College of Music in 2012, and completed postgraduate studies in composition and conducting at the Tokyo College of Music in 2014. The Violin Concerto – Nami no Kioku (Memories of the Waves) – won the 3rd Yamakyo Composition Prize 21 (2014). Winner of the first prize of the 2016 Toru Takemitsu Composition Award. Awarded the 27th Akutagawa Composition Prize.
His works have been performed by groups such as the Yamagata Symphony Orchestra, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and the New Japan Philharmonic. He is also involved in music not only for concert works but also for stage and film works, such as the music for the music theatre Stella’s Music and silent films, expanding his activities. Some of his works have been published by Hustle Copy as percussion ensembles, oboe trios, etc., and orchestral works by the Japan Federation of Composers Inc.
