■Project for the House of Atreus
This theatre project started in 2010, based on the imagination of what it would be like if the family of the House of Atreus in Greek tragedy lived in a contemporary town. It has been performed in different locations, including Sumida (2010), Toshima (2011), Miyakejima (2012), Awaji Island (2013) and Bunkyo (2016).

■  The House of Atreus, Matsudo, Chiba
This is a collaborative project between the Tokyo University of Arts and Music, Department of musical creativity and the environment, Kaku Nagashima Laboratory (Theatre and Dance) and the Nihon University College of Science and Technology, Department of Architecture, Shinya Satoh Laboratory (Architecture), with PARADISE AIR in Matsudo. Launched in April 2018, through the four-part study ‘Study for the  House of Atreus living in Matsudo’, we have been exploring the junction between theatre classics and the contemporary city, testing the existence of a fourth wall (the invisible wall assumed to exist between performer and audience). In March 2019, The House of Atreus, Matsudo, Chiba will be staged in the city of Matsudo as a culmination of the past year.
