Pipatpong Seepeng (Chopper)

Pipatpong Seepeng’s work investigates themes of existentialism, mental health, the body, and queerness. His practice focuses on the human condition, exploring the full spectrum of emotion and universal experience, including pain, love, loss, hope, despair, and healing. “I use art as a tool to hold and preserve my memories,” he explains.
Through his art, Pipatpong examines himself emotionally, physically, and in relation to the world, working across a diverse range of mediums, including textiles, video art, animation, sound design, painting, sculpture, and drawing. His creative process draws inspiration from his personal experiences, his interactions with friends and family, and the wider cultural landscape, including visual art, film, literature, and music.
