Musician. In pursuit of the sounds needed for each theatrical performance, Kosuke takes on new challenges to compose music of different genres every time. Being both a composer and a performer, he uses and optimizes a variety of instruments, such as a trumpet, piano, Khöömii (overtone singing), Jew’s Harp, patika, ukulele, computer, and so on, to enrich the image of the stage. Kosuke also conducts voice workshops, vocal and instrumental performance instructions. His representative works include Nylon 100°C’s “The One Hundred Years of Secrets” (written and directed by Keralino Sandrovich; received the prize for best play at the 26th Yomiuri Theater Awards) and Kanagawa Arts Theatre (KAAT)’s “Dr. Hoffman’s Sanatorium—a 4th Long Piece by Kafka” (written and directed by Keralino Sandrovich, choreographed by Shuji Onodera).
