Hiroyuki Ura

Born 1984, Tokyo.
As well as performing, composing and recording mainly on drums and keyboards, he has interacted with various national and international artists through music, including exhibiting (sound) installations, performing with sculptors, filmmakers and dancers, and organising performances of foreign musicians in Japan. Sound of Presence, a sound installation with a large number of ladles and no sound, was selected for the  11th Gunma Biennale for Young Artists.
