Hikaru Fujii

Hikaru Fujii is a filmmaker and visual artist born in Tokyo, Japan in 1976. He holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies for doctoral coursework at University of Paris 8. Since his return to Japan in 2005, he has explored the country’s modern socio-political climate through frank video art. Since the 3/11 disaster, he continues to film all over Japan, focusing his work on the connection between the disaster and the arts.
