Marimba & Vibraphonist. Born in Furano, Hokkaido. She majored in Percussion at Toho Gakuen College Music Department, and studied under world-renowned marimba players Keiko Abe and Mayumi Hama. In 2011, while still in school, she passed an audition for a newcomer to the Concert Vivant. In addition to performing, she has worked in a variety of fields including workshops for children, artist support, and recording. She is currently active in WUJA BIN BIN and Shibusashirazu Orchestra. She composes for her own band, nouon, and has released two studio recordings, KUU and Flow, and two live recordings since 2015. Since 2016, she has released three works in a row, including Azusa Yamada and Pearl Alexander at Sakaiki 2015, Shinkai 2016, and Satsuki 2017, recorded by Seigen Ono. Performed at large overseas festivals and produced and recorded music. In recent years, she has performed with Damo Suzuki (CAN) and Butoh dancer Semimaru (Sankai Juku). She has also provided stage support for vocalists such as Gen Hoshino, Taxi Saudade, Masakatsu Takagi, and Kissel. So far, she has performed at traditional overseas festivals such as Glastonbury Festival (UK), SAN SEBASTIAN JAZZALDIA (Spain), and FFN SINES (Portugal), and in Japan, she has performed at Fuji Rock, Roppongi Art Night, and La Folle Journée au Japon.
