Anais-karenin

Anais-karenin is an artist and researcher holding a PhD in Visual Poetics and running a Visiting Research at Waseda University (Japan). She juxtaposes cross-cultural studies, animism, mythologies, speculative narratives, symbiosis and science as a way to invoke invisible, spiritual, and empirical layers of nature. She is director of Biolilolab – bioart in the tropics, and her works were exhibited in many art institutions, nominated for grants and fellowships, as National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (Brazil).
