PARADISE AIR hosted the workshop Hybrid Worlding led by artist Pablo San Gregorio, who was in residence through the SHORTSTAY Program.

Pablo is an artist whose practice combines play, games, and art. He is a member of Shaman Garage, an artist group and narrative studio based in the Netherlands. The Hybrid Worlding workshop has been held in various locations around the world, and this time it was brought to Matsudo.

During the workshop, participants used clay to create forms by hand, which were then transformed into a shared digital game world using 3D scanning technology. People with different interests, from clay modeling to games and digital art, came together and enjoyed the creative process. The workshop offered a hands-on experience of “worlding,” where participants collaborated to build an imaginative world through creativity and play.
