Notes from Tokyo｜Magali Polverino

Magali Polverino, a food and still life photographer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, actively produced a series of photographs during her stay in the Short Stay Program, combining unique imagery—from antiques she purchased in Tokyo to a traditional Japanese sweets shop modeled after Yagiri no Watashi ferry crossing.

She also visited temples across Matsudo City, drawing inspiration from the decorative elements of Japanese architecture, and experimented with outdoor photography, resulting in a number of exploratory and experimental scenes.
