Ryuzo Nakazato
2025.03

Artist Ryuzo Nakazato will be invited to hold a workshop and exhibition of Ryuzo’s works related to “dreams” at the Matsudo City Cultural Hall in collaboration with the Matsudo City Social Education Division.
Ryuzo will introduce Ryuzo’s art project, “Invoking the Nushi of Shibuya River,” and conduct a workshop to create a story from memories and images related to imaginary creatures (e.g., yokai, spirits, UMA, imaginary friends, etc.) and “exercise your imagination” with the participants. Participants in the workshop will also be given an energy drink to help them have good dreams.
Ryuzo says, “To sharpen our senses for imaginary creatures is to arouse the dormant imagination within us and to fantasize a better story for our own lives. Why don’t you join us in Matsudo to unlock the sense of imagining a dream world that has been dormant inside of you? We look forward to your participation!
