Art Lecture – Making Tea from Weeds – Exhibition & Talk | Weed Day

An exhibition and talk event by Weed Day, an artist unit from Taiwan scheduled to stay for the Short Stay Program in September, will be held at the Matsudo City Cultural Hall in collaboration with the Matsudo City Social Education Div.

Weed Day has been communicating the attractiveness of weeds and plants around the world through food, centering on a project to collect weeds from nature and serve weed tea in various locations.
Weed Day will introduce their past activities in Matsudo, including research conducted in August at the Nishiaizu International Art Village (NIAV) at Nishiaizu, Fukushima Prefecture.

Weed Day says that collecting weeds is a way to encounter and learn about the land, and that weed tea is a medium that connects people to the land. Why don’t you join them and learn about the charm of weeds in Matsudo? We look forward to your participation!
