営業中 Business Is Open｜Andrey Berger

We are pleased to announce an exhibition of drawings and sculptures by Andrey Berger, an artist who stayed from Oct to Sep on 2022, on the second floor of the Matsudo Tourist Information Center.

During his stay in Matsudo, Andrey was inspired by traditional Japanese crafts and techniques and drew fluid images with a sophisticated touch on various materials such as Washi, paper lanterns, shop curtain, and beckoning cats. By installing and photographing some of these works in the city, he also focused on the relationship between the landscape of Matsudo and his own works.

The exhibition offered a glimpse of further experimentation by Andrei, who has continued to present energetically in Matsudo, including a large-scale work at Matsudo Cycling Stadium and a collaborative event with Fujikura Sports.
