[Exhibition] “The Residents of Matsudo” Participatory Exhibition

LONGSTAY Program 2020-21 resident artist Ralph C. Lumbres held a participatory exhibition of his “The Residents of Matsudo” series at Spread Rui Cafe&Bar, following a workshop held in October.

At the entrance of the venue, visitors will be greeted by a decorative plant that Ralph borrowed from people who has a connection to Matsudo.

Upon entering the café, photos of “Matsudo residents (photos of creatures and plants)” are displayed on the walls, and sticky notes next to the photos are handwritten with the meeting places and memorable stories of the people who provided the photos and the residents of Matsudo.

Many people came and went with drinks in hand at Spread Rui Cafe&Bar and enjoyed the unknown Matsudo for two lively days.
