[Talk] The PARADISE AIR’s Road to Russia

The opportunity of the exchange program with ZARYA was brought by our coincidental meeting with  ZARYA staff and Vostok artists in 2019, Kyoto. The artists are running a shared studio named Vostok — they taught us it means “East” in Russian.
It’s challenging to make such an exciting coincidence turned into an international project in this Covid-19 time. But the artists themselves continue with research about the characteristics and culture of Russia under the situation they may or may not fly to ZARYA. So we will hold an Open Meeting with Vostok and ZARYA members to share each situation. All, who are interested in creation in Russia and artist residency in this pandemic, are welcome to join.
