［QOL］Resident artists for the 1st term

We are pleased to announce that the following two artists have been selected for the first term of the MATSUDO “QOL” AWARD.

Jie Qi
Artist / Chinese American / Born in Hebei (China)
Based in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo

Ralph Lumbres
Artist / Filipino / Born in Cagayan de Oro City in Mindanao (Philippines)
Based in Quezon City, Philippines, and Matsudo City, Japan

Residency Period: Tuesday, June 16 – Tuesday, July 7, 2020

We initially planned to select one artist to enable the program held under the Declaration of a State of Emergency, however, two rooms on other floors got prepared for appropriate social distance. As a response to the current situation in Japan, we have decided to invite two artists at the same time.
Both artists will have their own theme to explore during their residency and PARADISE AIR will continue to support their QOL. Please keep your eyes on us.
