Let’s Try! 2019

In order to create opportunities for the museum-absent generation (teenagers) to come into contact with art/artists outside the museum, PARADISE AIR has been working with the summer volunteer experience course “Let’s Try!” organised by the Matsudo NPO Council. We offer junior and senior high school students from Matsudo the opportunity to interact with overseas artists and gain work experience at PARADISE AIR. This is the third time the annual event has been held, and some participants are repeat visitors, having attended the previous year and the year before.

This year, the resident artist, Enrico Floriddia, visited the Chiba Prefectural Museum of Art  to conduct a workshop to appreciate the artworks. In collaboration with the Chiba Prefectural Museum of Art, the museum staff in charge of the exhibition also gave direct explanations of the exhibition, providing an opportunity for visitors to become more familiar with art.
