“Moving Paintings” Matt Sheridan in Tokatsu-Clinic Mirai

This projection from Saturday night 1/31/15 was a dual channel version of the painting-in-motion composed live during Madroom at Fanclub that week. Titled FKA Cinema Matsudo, the work was projected on the facade of a medical clinic which only 3 years ago was a cinema. When projected large across the facade ─ and light, keeping the grid visible ─ its look and action was an abstract manga/anime conflating cinematic violence with medical struggles of life and death.
