Nicolás Gullotta works in a variety of mediums, including performance, sculpture, video and installation. In his works, performative processes related to specific materials and spatial situations, humans are in between machines or fully integrated with them. Questioning the border between the organic and the inorganic, notions of displacement, effacement, traffic and redefinition of this duality are present in the his artistic practice. In a way, his  work creates an ensemble of experimental actions that connect things that haven’t been relates previously. This action interrupts and expands the pre-existing common sense structures and systems that govern our cognition.
