ジェボーンはインドネシア生まれのシンガポール育ちで、どちらの国にも強い愛着を持っている。それに関連してか、空間の重なりへの関心が高い；　人が旅立った後に漂う親愛の情や、精神的な中身で満ちた物質、人の頭に浮かぶ思い。作品では、音波やインタラクティブ・メディアなどを使用し、遊び心こそ自身の活動の軸としている。ジェボーンにとって、作品が芸術家にも、そうでない人にもわかりやすく意味を持つことが重要なため、身体や時間を使ったシンプルなインタラクションを引き出すことに努めている。

Jevon was born in Indonesia and raised in Singapore, holding much fondness for both countries. Relatedly, he is interested in the layered-ness of spaces: of endearments that linger after one’s departure, physical structures suffused with psychic content, and personal dreaming. He has worked in sonic, visual, and interactive media, and considers play a key element of his practice. It is important to him that his works can be meaningful and legible to artists and non-artists alike, inviting for the plainest of interactions: with our bodies, and with our time.
