For the first time, PARADISE AIR will host a public event in the non-theater spaces of the Matsudo Civic Theater, including the 1st floor entrance and 2nd floor lobby.

This one-day PARADISE CORNER introduces what happens at PARADISE AIR and explores new ways of using the theater as a community space.
Current resident artist Wen-Hao Li from Taiwan invites visitors to share their favorite old songs and related memories as part of his research project. You can also enjoy a cup of warm Taiwanese tea, served every hour at the tea corner.

Artworks by past PARADISE AIR residents will be displayed throughout the venue, showing pieces inspired by their time in Matsudo.
Ayaka Ura, PARADISE AIR coordinator and artist, will lead an open ZINE-making session where anyone is welcome to join, reflect on this year’s workshops, and exchange ideas for the future.

Inside the theater, the Matsudo Historical Society will give a public lecture about local history.
We hope this experimental day will connect art, history, and community while exploring new possibilities for a sustainable art-centered city. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to join.
