Koto Concert by Josh Faber-Hammond

Free koto concert featuring music from American kotoist and composer Josh Faber-Hammond (Portland, OR, USA) was held at PARADISE AIR.
Josh is a first-chair performer in the Oregon-based ensemble Oregon Koto-kai and has an extensive background as a multi-instrumentalist. During his residency in Japan, 2023, he studied at the renowned Sawai Koto Institute in Tokyo and composed for koto ensemble.

This performance featured traditional and modern solo pieces, original works, and experimental improvisation.
