About PARADISE SALON
PARADISE SALON is a gathering that appears in a little warehouse near Matsudo Station every Thursday during the residency period. Artists might be working there or just having a tea with Matsudo residents. Curious to know who are living in the PARADISE? Please feel free to stop by and say hi!

Artist Matt Sheridan showed his recent works.
Matt setting up his projectors for the show!
Kids from a kindergarden in the neighbor stopped by!
They literally went into the world of images!
We recorded our radio program “PARADISE ON AIR” at the site!
We interviewed people who came by and also Matt.
Got lots of interesting untold history of Matsudo and the meaning behind Matt’s works that were shown at the salon recorded.
One of the animations represents the movement of a ritual dance in the slave religion in Brazil. Partially Native American himself, Matt is interested in native culture, characteristic of the region.
Please check the rest of the story on PARADISE ON AIR!
Thank you all for coming to our first salon!
Matt got a lot of gifts from Matsudo residents!
We have PARADISE SALON on every Thursday from 1pm to 5pm!
So please stop by and stay in tune!
